I went because my wife wanted to go; I stayed for a long time because it was amazing and interesting. The talent behind these works or art, made by hand from glass in phenomenal. Check out the film, it helps you understand the tremendous amount of work and skill goes into each individual piece. Don’t short change yourself and miss the outside garden. That was very cool as well. It’s only a 10 dollar add to the space needle ticket; well worth it.By Bill Rizzo (9 months ago)Absolutely loved this museum. Was not aware it was so large and contained so many exquisite pieces. Simply stunning artwork. I thought the cost was well worth the experience. It was extremely easy to get tickets via the kiosk but I noticed you could also purchase them from a clerk. I could have stayed all day it was just that beautiful. The outside gardens were lovely and I can only imagine how beautiful they must be lit up at night.By Rhonda Richardson (6 months ago)The Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit is one of my favorites that I have seen anywhere. As a painter and photographer I have an enormous amount of appreciation for art forms but glass blowing is probably the most awe inspiring to me. The exhibit is so colorful and vibrant that it is even more mesmerizing around every corner. The lighting in the exhibit is top notch and the places the shadows exist compliment these pieces perfectly. They have a live glass blowing area that is cool to see as I never had before walking through this exhibit. I highly recommend this is you love art and colors, which this place blends perfectly right under the Space Needle!!By Jeremy Janus (10 months ago)Definitely worth the trip!
The tickets may be costly for a ~30min tour but it’s very worth it. There were only a few rooms but you can sit and take time to appreciate every artwork. There’s also scheduled demos outside in the garden area and an AV room explaining the process. And a pizza cafe if you go hungry.
It is not part of the museum but I must mention the violinist outside (you can hear him from the garden area) contributes a lot to the overall experience. He wasn’t playing when we went in but he was by the time we reached the garden area and it just made the experience even more special. It makes the ambience even more magical!
I wasn’t hyped seeing the photos when we were deciding whether or not to go, even if it has been recommended to us a couple times from friends. But photos don’t do it justice. You need to see it in person to elicit a reaction/emotion.
Definitely recommend and would love to go again to show to other family members who haven’t been. ♥️By some one (11 months ago)Glad we went, the staff were friendly, but it feels a bit expensive ($35) for a self-guided tour. Seems like $20-$25 would be more appropriate. The size and textures of many of the exhibits are impressive. Also, for the video part of the tour it would be nice if they had a visual countdown on the screen until the next video starts. Expect crowds (we went on a Tuesday around noon) and guests not paying attention to their surroundings while taking photos.By Shaun (8 months ago)

are in a good location, on the promenade in the center. there is something to see and even new species of marine life can be discovered. interesting and curious. I think both children and adults will be interested. to see everything about 1-1:30 is enough. there is a cafe and gift shop inside. the guide and the scuba diver who takes care of the fish from inside the aquarium tell interesting things about them. if you want to drive there by car and park for free, then you need to put it against the aquarium that is there. look at the site and only put the car there. what else can be said? I expected more and a little better. I was at the Oregon Aquarium and it’s better there, much bigger and interesting and expected something similar, but not bad, okay. There is no queue, you can arrive at the appointed time and immediately go in.By Ramaz J (7 months ago)I love going to the Seattle Aquarium so much, I became a member! Great place to bring the family. It’s moderate in size so your kids won’t get too tired but the exhibits are great and the first one is even interactive. We just love seeing the seals and otters as well!
You can make park at Pike Place Market Parking Garage and ask to get 2 hours validated when you enter the aquarium. The same parking garage connects to Pike Place Market which opens up your day to many activities!

We ordered the ticket via our King County Library Card which gave us the free admissions (i.e., one card can take up to at most four people). There are many great and vivid selections, but I love the outside sea otter section the most. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable to all your curious questions. There are a lot of exhibitions so please take your time to visit them all. I believe there is no free public parking, so you have to pay nearby parking. If you have kids, the aquarium is a great place to learn, enjoy, and spend time with them. Overall, I highly recommend this place to local people, tourists and myself to come back in the near future.By Danny Tram (10 months ago)A fantastic aquarium with lots of exhibits and different animals. All the staff was really nice and answered any questions I had. There was a really great area out on the pier to sit and take a break. The seals and the sea otters were very cute. Everything was very well maintained and all the critters were happy and well cared for.By Daniel Gerland (11 months ago)A special place, no matter if it’s the first, third, fifth, or seventh time I had been through the aquarium. The local fish and fauna, the exotic, and the information about them is informative and entertaining. It’s hard not to get excited thinking about the exhibits and their varied nature’s. Touching sting rays, tide pools, and salmon ladders all are some of the things you can see and do. The gift shop isn’t bad either. The facility is clean and family friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring explorers of all ages. It was actually a lot of fun! It was cloudy when we got there, but by the time we got to the top the skies had cleared and we got to experience the most amazing views! The revolving glass floor on the lower level is beautiful and a fun time all around. Loved the gift shop too!
Gorgeous View from the top of the Seattle Space Needle! Definitely top on the list if traveling to Seattle. We enjoyed the observation deck and especially the walk over the clear see though floor which is for the brave heart because it could be difficult for some. Or they would just chose to not look down. But it’s a one of kind experience that I would highly recommend. I enjoyed it so much I took video of that walk. We traveled here back in 2019 and would love to go back.
Amazing views of the city and the sound. Worth the wait. Get your ticket from the on-site machines so you don’t have to commit to a time to far in advance. The outside viewing deck is awe inspiring. Built in 1961-62, (370 days), it is crazy how quickly they were able to complete the structure. The wallboard along the hall were very interesting and helped pass the time inline. The revolving deck just below the observation deck is cool, as it has a see through floor on the outer most area.
this place is a calling card for Seattle and the whole world knows. who wants to visit here should be calculated about 2 hours, if everything is fine to inspect. The appointed time does not mean that you will immediately go upstairs, I was in the morning hours and a little earlier than the appointed time and everything exactly had to stand in line for about 15 minutes. but it’s all worth the wait. the landscape is gorgeous, the city, the bay is a great view from above. there is a place to sit and have a bite, there are free drinks, there is a restaurant. two levels. it’s interesting when you watch the tower spin and you yourself are inside. you can take great pictures. there is a large gift shop downstairs. I am very glad. I advise everyone to visit.
Having been up many towers throughout the world, this one was on my bucket list and it didn’t disappoint.
The queue was long despite having pre-booked tickets but it seems to move at a reasonable pace.
The information board on the construction of the Space Needle was interesting and reading it took away the monotony of standing in the queue.
The elevator up offered views over the city and the view from the top, especially on a good at was breath taking. There are plenty of points of interest throughout the stroll around the top. The views across the bay and downtown are amazing.
The revolving floor was interesting to see and feel. The glass floor was a nice touch too.
The gift shop at the bottom was well stocked and reasonably priced, if you are into souvenirs of your trip. The shop is also cashless.
All staff encountered were friendly and helpful.
If in Seattle this is definitely a place to visit.
